Shalichia Cox leads the day-to-day operations and coordinates the activities for the program.

 

Victory Transitional Housing started after Shalichia experienced the challenges of taking care of her adult daughter who was diagnosed with a mental illness at a very young age.

 

Shalichia has a passion for helping caregivers and their family member whom have experienced and are experiencing those same struggles. Born and raised in Virginia, she moved to Florida in 2004 and made Polk County her home. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Strayer University and her Certified Nursing Assistant Training from Southern Technical College.
